The room that we booked wasn't available and we were upgraded to a larger room. Though its a smoking room, the staff made sure that the room doesn't have a smoke smell. The room has a huge study table with a sofa area for resting and watching TV. The bathroom was huge with a bathtub. The hair dryer was fantastic. Hotel service was exceptional. There was an umbrella provided in the room, which was very useful as it rained on our third day in Nanjing. The reception and concierge staff were helpful to our queries. We were able to send our online purchased Taobao packages to the hotel even before we arrive at the hotel, which is a plus point.

I had an amazing stay at [ Jinling Hotel ]! The staff went above and beyond to make my visit special — especially on my birthday. To my surprise, they prepared a beautiful birthday cake and delivered it to my room with warm wishes. It was such a thoughtful and memorable gesture! The room was clean and comfortable, the service was outstanding, and every staff member I encountered was friendly and attentive. I truly felt taken care of from check-in to check-out. Thank you for making my birthday extra special — I’ll definitely be back and will highly recommend this place to friends and family! 💛🎂🇸🇬

Location was good, just 2 min walk from the metro station. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff was very helpful in answering our many queries about non-hotel/general matters especially as we are foreigners and not familiar with the payment/transport system. A number of them also spoke English which is useful for visitors who may not speak Mandarin. Service was also impeccable; a service staff member would be at our door within minutes of our phone call to attend to our requests. Breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of food, both Chinese and Western.

The first 5 star hotel with the best location in the city. Very clean facilities, comfortable and modern room (we stayed at the higher, more recently built of the two towers). The interior of the whole hotel is very high level, modern and clean as well. The staff was always very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, e.g for directions, ride hailing, baggage handling, deliveries to the hotel or similar. During our breakfast at the hotel and also dinner at the plum garden, some employees ( 萌萌，小贾，汪揇and his colleague the name you find on the picture) were especially helpful (see photos)!!! Breakfast was great, a wide arrange of Chinese food and some additions from other parts of the (Western) world. And of course the view from the 56. floor while enjoying breakfast is a nice addition as well. 😊 Location is excellent for several occasions, e.g shopping (across the street), exploring old Nanjing (nearby) or getting to other locations in the city (metro station is just around the corner, cabs and Dididadi can pick you up at one of two entries of the hotel). If you are unsure about lunch or dinner, the restaurants in the hotel are a good choice as well, especially the Plum Garden.

So, we arrived later in the afternoon, and there were complications during the check in. I wanted to check in first, with my ID, but was not allowed until I could present my childs ID. Thought they could have been more flexible there. HOWEVER, after we checked in the service was impeccable and we got a free upgrade. Henry at reception was particulary helpful and friendly. The swimming pool was terrific and the gym was also well equipped. If I had to point to one thing, which I did not love, was the breakfast. It was more suited for locals, but was more than good enough. I would recommend it highly, if you wish to stay in the center of the city, with a nice swimming pool and gym, however do not expect a full on Western breakfast.

I have travelled to many places in China different provinces for work and leisure trip. This time the most wonderful experience which I had in Jingling Hotel is there Halal Breakfast, whatever items they had were halal with name card places directly next to the food items displayed. I enjoyed there lavish breakfast a lot. Room was superb view given on 19th Floor with good view of the city from the top. The location of the hotel is fantastic very friendly for tourists and convenient. All branded shops restaurants are next door including the Metro which is just 100 meters from the Hotel. I must say I am 100% satisfied. To let other guests know that in this hotel many famous celebrities have stayed.

This hotel has an excellent location with a main metro line within steps of the hotel. It made it extremely easy to crisscross the city quickly and inexpensively. The rooms were clean, a good size, and had comfy beds. Bottled water was supplied daily. The breakfast buffet was the best we have experienced in our travels. An excellent selection of Asian and Western food. The concierge was so accommodating and helpful. The hotel has an ATM machine on-site which was very convenient. Across the street from the hotel is a massive mall with lots of shops and restaurant. If you take exit 5 while in the metro you will find great restaurants to choose from.

Initially, I booked a room just for myself, hoping for a pleasant stay. However, the hotel didn't just meet my expectations; it far exceeded them, prompting me to extend my stay and invite my family and friends to join me. We ended up booking two additional rooms and stayed for two extra days, the level of comfort, service, and amenities which has making our stay incredibly enjoyable.And a must-visit is the hotel's own baozi shop; its flavors transport me back to the cherished tastes of my childhood in Nanjing! The hotel rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, and well-appointed, providing a perfect sanctuary for relaxation after a day of exploring the surrounding area. The staff was exceptionally welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I felt i needed different pillow height, and unbeliveble they have bring the different style to choose from. I am amazed about their attention to detail and willingness to accommodate our needs was truly commendable. I have to specially credit to hotel staff Ms卞博 (Hopefully i spell correct) , she is great in provide what i asked help for. Highly recommended Jing Ling hotel for someone who is looking for the real 5 star service !

oh, where to start... maybe from the biggest highlight - on the day of my birthday, I came at evening to my room and I found there's a small cake on the table with personalized note; that made me grinning from ear to ear, which really showed me how staff care about their guests! And for common parts for every review - room was great (huge, comfortable), everything was clean, and swimming pool and sauna is something you dont want to miss out!
